I create commissioned body art based on who you are, what you love, my own inspiration; and when you move, it is even more uniquely your own. Working with fabulous portrait photographers like Devi Pride Photography, we capture these ephemeral moments for you to keep.

When we’ve chosen and edited a favorite photo, we can have it printed on canvas, ready for hanging. It looks amazing. Your friends will be astonished when you tell them it’s you!

Basic rate is $130/hr for painting time, and there may be a sketch/research fee (usually not too much). Photography and prints are billed separately. The amount of time depends on how detailed the design is, and how much of the body is painted —sometimes we “cheat” and just do the area the camera will see. Initial consult is free.
Body Acceptance Projects
I’m really interested in pursuing more of these projects! So far they’ve been about the process of accepting medical changes (like Mastectomy), and also about accepting life transitions, and they could be other types of things too.
This project was about processing changes from kidney dialysis, which affected the shape of his arm
These are as much about process as product, using art to express what’s important to the person being painted on.
I am very fortunate to have been awarded a grant from Arts Council Santa Cruz County to partially fund this work.

We often just paint the part that will show in the picture, and it’s all about your comfort and the art you want.
